My design approach is easy to remember: less is more, clean and simple, but always with a little humor.

I've been designing professionally for over a decade and I'm still finding ways to finesse the craft and add new skills to the belt.The path here was anything but straight. It started with custom-coding my MySpace page, took a brief detour through "maybe I should be a programmer" (Java said no), and landed on Communications Design. Never looked back. Somewhere along the way I also became a licensed real estate agent — long story involving a dream home, a self-made to-scale floor plan, and what might be some deeply buried architecture feelings.

When I'm not at my desk, you'll find me watching title sequences, chasing my next volleyball league (Gotham, we had a good run), figuring out the garden one season at a time, traveling when I can, and eating...always eating.

The common thread in all of it? I like solving things. Design just happens to be the most fun way I've found to do it. And yes, I'm a cat lady. So if a cat or two are present, even better.
